UNEMPLOYEMENT/The Italian challenge to Ue on common unemployment benefit

The position paper presented by the Italian Government to the European partners in recent days moves from the observation that the severity of the crisis is persisting beyond all expectations needs to be adjusted so as to make the idea of Europe to new canons.
In particular, according to the Executive, in order to promote economic growth, it should be necessarily to take some important structural reforms, both from a financial point of view and from the point of view of the labour market. With specific regard to the labour market needs and opportunities to take action through the creation of a "common unemployment benefit for the whole of Europe" has been highlighted.
