NASPI/function, amount (and disadvantages) of unemployment benefit

As we all know, from 7th March 2015 – in addition to updates on growing protection contract and penalty regime of layoffs – new rules for social shock absorbers are officially into force.

The main updates concern the changes of ASpI and mini ASpI into NASpI (new social insurance), the introduction of ASdI, the unemployment benefit for workers who don’t find a job after the cutoff date by NASpI, by DIS-Coll, the treatment for para subordinates, and Replacement Contract, that includes a voucher for agencies who manage to find jobs for unemployed.

As far as NASpI is concerned, the unemployment benefit will be paid to workers who lost their jobs starting from 1st May 2015 and it will be calculated on the amount of their tax contributions.
